How many people can sit at each table?
The tables can hold between 6 and 10 people.

Who is responsible for putting up and taking down decorations / flowers?
While the couple may add their own decorations, we feel that given the natural character and charm of the buildings and grounds, little additional décor is needed. Flowers may be added in both the Sanctuary and the Barn, however if you do not plan to bring your own table centre piece, we will add a simple potted plant. Glitter, sprinkles and confetti are not permitted. It is required that nothing is stuck to walls or any paintwork on the premises. It is also the couple’s responsibility to remove the decorations the following day.

Do you have a courtesy van?
Yes, the courtesy van is generally available, please check when booking. Our courtesy van runs from 10pm until an hour after closing time. If you have numbers above 70, we suggest you organise a bus to pick them up at closing time as taxi’s can be difficult to get and hence will save your guests waiting to get home.

Can I bring in my own alcohol?
No. Only alcohol that has been purchased on-site can be consumed on the premises.

Do you have credit card facilities?

Please click here to view accommodation options. For any enquiries contact Verena on 083 075 7433 or email .

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the venue can be accessed by wheelchair.

Can we have our ceremony outside?
Yes, this is possible. However, we do not have any chairs or a PA system for this so that would be something you’d have to book separately.

Other Useful Details

Wedding cake
Your wedding cake can be dropped to the venue the evening before the wedding by appointment, or any time on the day of the wedding. We suggest displaying and serving the cake in The Orangery in The afternoon. We do not charge any additional fee for cutting the cake and have a selection of wooden discs to display the cake on.

PA Systems
Both the Sanctuary and the Barn are fitted with PA systems for background music and microphones for speeches.

While we do not provide a decorating service, we have collected various decorations over the years which are on site for your use, these include:
- Lanterns at the end of the pews in the sanctuary
- Various stands and wooden logs for displaying your wedding cake
- A wooden pallet for your table plan
- Battery operated candles, wooden discs and table numbers for each table in the main barn
We also have various glass jars and bottles which can be used to hold flowers along with small silver and gold buckets which are suitable for potted plants, both of which can be used as centre pieces for the tables.
